Wow! Hi Tom! First, I have to say congrats on your new Kickstarter project. That looks awesome! Sure could have used that a few years ago! Second, I want to thank you for Commander Keen! I LOVE those games, and still play them via dosbox. I enjoy them so much, and they inspired me to write my own ga...

Good call. I always assumed it was Wisconsin, I guess because of the Packers helmet.

We got it in some CD pack years ago but could never get it to load! Had completely forgotten about that game; I'll give it another shot! It's a great game, very well done for one of the earliest RPGs. I enjoyed it even more than Baldur's Gate! It's just too bad they never finished the third book in...

I'm surprised nobody's mentioned Interplay's Lord of the Rings, Star Trek 25th Anniversary, and Star Trek Judgment Rites. I absolutely LOVED those games! And all the great Sierra adventures: King's Quest, Space Quest, Quest for Glory, Conquests of Camelot, Conquests of the Longbow, Colonel's Bequest...

Which also means the Galaxy engine could be expanded beyond what has been managed already? Absolutely. If you have the source code, it's relatively easy to add new features, change how things work, etc. Then you can compile it into a brand new executable, and you can compile it to run natively on o...

Actually, I would like to see it released in its original classic engine. We already have that. It's UTUIT (Keys of Krodacia, Dead in the Desert, Battle of the Brains). That's why a lot of us would rather see an official TUIT with a new engine, giving us something revolutionary that doesn't make UT...

i would be surprised and astonished if the universe is toast was actually released 20 years after it was shelved for wolfenstien 3d and doom, question is will it be completely redone in 3d or in it's original classic engine?, just let me say i would pay to have keen in 3d i may not have been so ent...

I guess it depends where you look. If you look under the Direct section (where you find Windows, Mac, and Linux games), there are some good deals.

But if you look under the mobile sections, the deals probably won't be as good, since a lot of mobile games are already so cheap IMHO.

Because We May sale

2D Boy has gotten a bunch of indies together for the Because We May sale! Here's what it's all about: We believe that developers should have the freedom to price their games how they like, without interference from the online stores that sell the games. Why? Because it allows us to promote our games...

That could be true...

It would have been nice if there were more lifewater flasks that could be had in Lifewater Oasis. I think that was my first impression when I played it for the first time, and I remember I was a bit disappointed that the level wasn't filled with water and flasks.

From the official Commander Keen FAQs on the 3D Realms site at:
http://www.3drealms.com/faq/ckfaq20.txt
You can not get to the raindrops and lifewater flasks floating over
the underground river in Lifewater Oasis (it's just a tease).
