If it’s okay I’d like to nominate the one and only Tom Hall for 4-1 Keenest Person Of the Year, because he’s been active in the Keen Discord answering fan questions and giving insight into Keen’s development and ID Software history which is way cool to see!

I second this... DEVO are such good fun, probably the most fun and least self-important of all the post punk bands. I find their colourful visuals and their jaunty square wave synths are almost a bit Keenish in a way.

When I think about a brand new Commander Keen game, I imagine an open-world sandbox style game, set on some beautiful Alien planet far away in the galaxy, where Keen could be free to just explore the planet. There would be many interesting and dangerous locations (levels) to uncover, forests, caves ...

Hey could someone please update the "level packs" section of the main Galaxy Mods page over at the Wiki? I don't see Sunnylands listed there yet

I wear glasses because I have bad vision, but once in a while I take them off when playing Keen. This makes the game look blurry to me and my skill goes down. I call it "nostalgia mode"

I happened to find the checkpoints in Atroxian Realm to be very useful, and ended up using them all the time. But that was because I didn't just play straight through the game. I would go back, re-play the level a few times and try to memorize everything so I could beat a level in under 30 minutes ...
