Re: Did you know Jill of the Jungle also had a Bible-themed mod?

I've heard about Super Noah's Ark, but this is a new one to me. Who can forget the classic part of the Bible where a guy turned himself into a fish to swim up a waterfall to collect a level gem?! It's always fun to see these reskin\mod games (not sure what the proper term is) to spot the similaritie...

Good to see Keen (and the forum) still gets a run with all ages.

After university I worked in hardware/ system admin for some local schools, then moved into technology and software support (in house and for clients using the software), at a neat software dev company. Worked in that role for a couple of years, and have just moved into an E-Learning development rol...

I always thought that was the final straw in the decision to move the community here, but reading the Computer World article above, the attack was around 2 years before the move. Was there another smaller scale attack\disruption in 2007 prompting the move, or have I just remembered very poorly?

I think I'll need to buy this.

Also the image they're using for the anthology with all the Apogee characters in it is probably the most awesome thing I've seen in a while.

If the meet up makes its way to Melbourne, let me know because I'd definitely be interested!

And Keen 4 for me.

This is awesome! Can't believe I've somehow completely missed the existence of this project until now. I always imagined the surroundings of Keen 1 to mostly be barren, desolate Mars with a few mountains and nearby domes, but I really like all the busy city things going on in this game. It kinda rem...

I'm looking forward to the game being developed by The Two Guys from Andromeda (creators of Space Quest), though I wish I'd pledged some money to them to get some of those nice sounding bonus goodies (as well as the game!). I haven't really read much about Kickstarter as a whole, but I think it's an...

My first thought would be to spend however much the game costs, but having thought about it a bit more, it depends. I preordered the collectors' edition Duke Nukem Forever, with the mini statue, poker cards/chips, bottle opener cap and a few other things without even knowing anything about the actua...

Before I knew about the existence of the Hitchhiker's Guide, I thought the 'second dumbest' thing was a reference to the TV show Get Smart, where the main character, Max, often uses a 'that's the second biggest [whatever]...' catch phrase. Keen actually refers to the giant sandwich in Keen 6 as the ...

Ah, Roachie. I couldn't remember what her screen name was and kept calling her the 'website author'.

I tried to get in contact with her out of curiosity about that document, but both email addresses I've got listed for her are no longer active. Was she ever a member here?

I only had a quick look at the editor document before uploading. I've had a better read now, and text in the document such as I did not understand the correct function of this command, but it must be something that verifies player position and working. for the 'V' key definition make me think it's w...

Was just going through some old emails from 2005 that I'd exchanged with the author of a Jill of the Jungle website ( http://members.tripod.com/classic_roach/id14.html ) and one of our discussions was actually about this editor. I'd since completely forgotten about its existence and probably never r...

That sounds awesome! Had you ever spoken to Tom prior to the lunch invitation? Either way, like Para said, its pretty classy of him to meet up with a fan like that.
