Re: Biomenace 2025 remastered version

This is awesome. It's what a remaster should be. The new graphics look super nice, everything feels nice and fluid, and the music is great. It maintains the spirit of the original while overhauling it to be modern. Loads right up. I love that you guys kept everything, including the original menus! I ...

Re: What Keen games do you have on your computer?

Got the Steam pack, my old disk versions couldn't run mods, and I didn't know they had patches.
And while we are at it....what mods do people recommend?

Check out the Keen Wiki mod section in general. That said, "The Universe Is Toast!" by Ceilick is a great trilogy to start with (many of us ...

Re: Didn't Keen Dreams get some sort of new edition?

Thanks, just edited my Steam review a bit, lol.
My question is, how is ID Software involved here at all, if at all? There's a way to pay for Keen Dreams, but is this even technically a legal purchase of it? I know I'm being nitpicky but we still don't really have much idea as to who is uploading ...

Re: Biomenace 2025 remastered version

Wow, missed this entirely somehow!
I've got a soft spot for BioMenace, always thought that it was a nice DOS platformer. Glad to see it get remastered all of these years later! Also, seems that the folks developing this actually know what they're doing, unlike SOME DOS game remasters I could name ...

Wait... How the HELL did I miss this???? I'm an avid adventure game fan, and I'm getting some big Lucasarts vibes from this. You continue to shock me with the awesome graphics. Looks really pretty imo. Hope you keep working on this!

Re: My JavaScript Port of Dangerous Dave

Wow! This is pretty cool. I do agree with Roobar, the editor is a bit too tiny. You did say that it was very bare-bones, but if you ever do update it, I suggest making it bigger.
Saving and loading levels is definitely unique here. The levels are saved in such a simple way that using the clipboard ...

Re: Why do you like Keen?

Sorry if this is necroing, but I just wanted to share my thoughts on Keen. I've always loved 2D platformers my entire life. Mainly played SNES and such for a long time.

1) How did you initially get into the Keen games?
My father introduced them to me when I was still pretty young. Never got super ...

Assuming that you've got all the levels by now, since it's a few days past the deadline. Do you have any idea when this might be releasing? Just curious :D

Re: Unconventional way of beating the Rome level in keen 2

Ha, this is cool! I always assumed that there was some way to beat the level like that, but no matter how much I play Keen I always kinda suck at it :lol ! Next time I end up playing Keen 2 I'll attempt this (and probably fail miserably).

Re: Good image host site?

Yeah, Imgur is normally pretty good, that's what I've used before. Imgbb has also worked pretty good in the past, gives a lot of options for linking and such, like allowing embedding in BBCode or HTML.

Re: Recreated Keen 4-6 Source Code

Try this.
It's already installed and everything, inside of the bin file. Also, the WinWorld dumps aren't corrupted, it's just that Windows can't read them like it can other formats. You should still be able to mount a floppy image using "-t floppy" inside of Dosbox iirc.
