Level entry phrases

In Commander Keen 4, 5 and 6 there is text that pops up when you enter a level such as "Keen shivers along the Chasm of Chills". The Jill of the Jungle games have this also. What I'm curious about is whether there is any other game that does this.

I think a lot depends on what the target game is; the more complex the game, the more complex the level editor needs to be. For a tile-based game of Keen's type, with a simple tile layer and a sprite layer, the task isn't all too difficult. (Although that depends on whether you know any programming...
