Screw the Steam version because there's no Commander Keen in there. If they have Shadow Warrior and stuff from the Apogee Throwback Pack don't see the point why they can't have Keen in there. I see that you are using s 64 bit OS, I'd recommend you always using the most current version of DOSBox in our case it's 0.74... be sure to uninstall the buggy one... Then install the new one... If still it does that thing then it's not DOSBox's fault.. Try dragging the Keen EXE file onto the DOSBox...
