Further thoughts: I'm probably really bad at this and out of practice, and this isn't necessarily a suggestion or anything, but I gotta say, easy mode (for any of the trilogy, really) isn't exactly easy ... ...but, then again, Keen was never really all that easy. :dead2 The final level of Keen 2... ...

In the vast and dreary desert of adult life, of a crummy fast food job, of crazy drama and depression and suchlike, you have brought a smile to this sad old woman (well, okay, 20s isn't old, but I've found a couple gray hairs already...). Seriously. Ceilick, Mink, Tulip, Levellass, Lemm, and the res...

She should've said iconic, then, sorry :dead2 Though the idea of imposter Keen's intervention is pretty funny too. But yeah, I think most Keen fans could see the irony of a dopefish, mr. "swim swim eat eat," besting Mr. 315 in a match of wits. To say nothing of how Mort would take it!

Castle of the Winds (as Galaxieretter mentioned) had a plot! Somewhat Norse mythology based, all about how you were the heir to this legendary castle that the evil lord of Muspelheim, the fire giant Surt, had taken over, and how you had to learn about your roots and reclaim your heritage from him by...

The Ion Ventilation System always makes me feel happy (except trying to make that impossible pogo trick jump blind to get over to the 1-ups... I'm not very good at the impossible pogo as it is, and that ceiling cannon blasting away interrupting the sound doesn't help!). Just wandering around, and th...

I don't think the music in Keys of Krodacia is all that bad, and as a player with no modding experience I have to say I am impressed with the fact that you got all-new music into these mods, considering that I can scarcely think of any mods or hacks of any game I've ever seen that actually accomplis...

My thread catch-up thoughts: I hope Mort takes more than two shots to defeat :p Also, do you have a plan for how to necessitate defeating Mort to get the ending sequence? Given that you have to break the QED with a bomb to finish Keen 5... unless you know a way to trigger the ending through new prog...

Oh, I wasn't thinking he should review the Keen games (unless he did it passive and normal style, like his movie reviews or his recent Ghostbusters 360 review), just the GBC one... but having experienced knowledge of the real Keen games makes that a lot more worthwhile. Unfortunately it seems like k...

Actually, he did a couple GBC games, like Sipder Man, Batman: Return of the Joker, and Bugs Bunny's Crazy Castle. :)

Does throwing things and screaming bloody murder between attempts to play count as having fun? :p

This comic is wonderful! I've really enjoyed it a lot. Thank you! :) I look forward to more! There's so many good ones so far, but I think my favorite is #28. I just love that "...or not" bit :mortlol

I just tried this out, and I've got to say it's looking awesome! I'm very excited about the idea of seeing a full game like this! There were a couple points I thought of while playing it: :dead2 I died a whole lot in the main level. It's nice to have some tricky platforming jumps in 3D, but a little...

The gameboy, and subsequent upgrade Gameboy Color, was a great little system. It had classics, like Super Mario Land 2, the original Wario Land game, The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (and those two Oracles games weren't too bad either), and probably other things I'm forgetting. It wasn't really...

Slightly altered version based on suggestions: http://img442.imageshack.us/img442/6845/keentitlesmini2.png The eyebrows are a little tricky to recognize as such because the Keen sprite never really had eyebrows. The O_O type faces are really hard to actually fit in a way that looks face-like though ...

Micro title screens

So, I was messing around with sprites and figured I'd try to make a whole set like my avatar: little micro versions of each game's title card using in-game graphics/sprites. I decided to make up Galaxy-style ones for the Vorticons trilogy, since the title screens for those were really pretty plain, ...
