I'm playing the OSI.EXE through DOSBox. I wasn't aware there was another way to play it.I already started a new game, but I've been using multiple save slots in case the game crashes like that again. I'll try the other way when I'm done with my current session.

I just lost all of my progress because "Goplat moved to a bad spot" during Defense Tunnel Eblon, specifically the spot where the Robo Yellow is. Reloading the save gives me the same error, so I'll just start a new game, I guess. I've been having a great time with the mod otherwise.

My #1 pick would be Newpotato News, but the others are incredibly good too. My other main choices would be On Deep Point and Good Turnip, but Spittin' Seeds is also very good for some levels that have a somewhat foreboding feel to them.

I wish you the best of luck on this project! I've been hoping someone would make a Godot framework that replicates the Goodbye Galaxy style of Keen gameplay, and this shows potential even in its early stages. I look forward to seeing how far you go with this.

Here's my contribution, somewhere in Anchorage, Alaska where I first experienced Keen back in 1992 or 1993. This was done in the exact neighborhood too.

Also interesting that Crystal Caves is called "Crystal Mines" in this advertisement, or so I assume anyway.

Sorry for bumping an old thread, I just want to say this drawing of Keen has to be the best modern interpretation of Keen I've come across. It retains the look of his DOS era design ...

I played through the game twice and, yeah, it's a little unusual there's a pogo button but no pogo stick in sight. I'm guessing it's a planned feature or something I couldn't find? Great mod, by the way! It can easily see it becoming my way of playing Keen Dreams going forward.

I'm happy to hear this is still being worked on! What way could we help with the level design? Do you have someone in mind who could help?

The Dropbox account is was on has been removed, apparently. I also looked in the very laptop I made the mod in and it seems to be gone there too. I think it's lost forever, unless someone else downloaded it and still has it. Otherwise, I could just make the mod again whenever I'm up for it.

I'm having the same problem. I also can't erase the quick save I accidentally made during gameplay. What folder is this program interacting with?

To be fair, with Keen 3 specifically, making entirely new levels *is* fixing issues. :p
