Don't worry, I was just joking about not understanding the points. I did read the help file after doing all the levels!
I did replay it actually getting the points and won with 3/4 levels left.
I just beat it and it's not that hard, except for that level where you go back and forth through fire multiple times, but I beat it after a few tries. It would be a lot easier if I could press Ctrl and Alt at the same time. I beat it in one sitting because of the short levels and the lack of ammo an...
I saved Fall Up as one of the last because it seems to be a unique full-sized puzzle game. I like puzzle games, but I'm not good at doing lots of levels in a row. I've done 3 levels so far.
I got through the majority of the Keen 1 mods. The only ones left are five sequel mods, plus Fall Up and Shadow Keen, both of which may take a while for me to beat. The next game's mods I'll do will be for Keen 4 and probably the other galaxy mods since there aren't many of them and I'm much better ...
In Keen 4's ending, when Keen makes weird faces, I thought Keen was sarcastically saying "And this is what they look like" before making stupid faces to make fun of the shikadi, but I recently found out it's actually the oracle that said that, and Keen was just reacting to something we don't get to ...
Here are the levels. Each of them has one of the four ship parts and a Vorticon Guard or Commander. Each Vorticon guards a keycard needed to reach the level's ship part, instead of guarding the ship part itself. I made each level by first making a size and shape for them, deciding to base them off t...
After convincing myself to stop writing pointless text files about cows, and actually focus on priorities like a mature adult, I have finished my first Keen mod, Old Times Episode 1: Back On Mars. https://gofile.io/d/skYwGp It's a Keen 1 level pack with 4 levels and a bunch of patches. I made each l...
Well, doors are a major mechanic in keens. Without them levels could feel short and somewhat bland. You may hate these because you're playing so many mods at once. I don't hate keycard doors usually, I just started to dread finding them in really long levels where I would finally get to the end, se...
So I finally got a computer and access to all the commander keen mods (I previously had an android tablet but didn't know dosbox worked on it) and decided to play all of them, starting with keen 1 mods. But then I wondered: there are so many! How would I remember which ones I liked? So I came up wit...
Granted. Now that I infinitely perpetuate this game with my wishes, I am compelled to reply to everyone else's wishes, even if I don't understand them, in which case I just turn them into cows as revenge for my lame cow laser. As the game indefinitely perpetuates, everyone eventually turns into cows...
Granted. You automatically make every level that could possibly ever be made ever for every game you touch. You now have to spend days digging through them all to find levels that look remotely playable. Still easier than designing them though.
Apparently the first 100,000 digits of pi contain 92 instances of 314 and 91 instances of 315! This proves that Keen was the smarter one all along! And that's not even counting 3.14!
The first 10,000,000 digits of pi are a little harder to quantify though.
