Re: The Mortrix (K2 mod)

Can someone teach me how to apply patches for unlimited lives? Unlimited lives should have been a standard for all vorticon mods by now. Should be pretty easy. Find the patch for Keen 2 from the wiki and add in somewhere in the middle of the patch file. http://www.shikadi.net/keenwiki/Patch:Lives#I...

Re: Where can I download this game for Dosbox?

Looks like it's being sold on gog.com https://www.gog.com/game/cosmos_cosmic_adventure Amazing that so many Part 2s and 3s don't have a price tag of $0.00 by now. Then again, who's to say they should? Maybe not so amazing. Didn't the later episodes of Major Stryker become freeware? (You posted in th...

Re: Early Atroxian Realm Sequel Thoughts

Maybe Princess Lindsey is the Tooth Fairy. She seems to have a connection to Three-Tooth Lake in that one of her hints is the location of the Swim Gear. The gear is located in Miragia so perhaps her royal city is one of those peculiar semi-invisible places that you can only see if you stand at the p...

Re: InsaLev3 level pack

Well... I didnt know that there was any option for enabling unlimited lifes... That's strange. This levelpack is patched to have infinite lives and no ammo (as can be seen in the pat.pat file) I did notice the game overs in your stream. How did you manage to bypass the patches?! 10-J, Troublesomeke...

Re: InsaLev3 level pack

Oh man. A, B, C, D are super strong levels. Completed D first try!
Hmm.. These are all really good. I think the pack has covered all the bases. Most of these levels are extremely fine-tuned.
Well done!

Re: The "I'm looking for a classic game" Thread

hooray! what a relief. have you had a chance to play Monsters of Terror recently? and does it bring back sweet memories of the good ol' days!? Alas, tis not to be. Whoever is in charge no longer has the DOS version. I might try to config the Amiga version, but just seeing it again is enough. Almost...

Re: The "I'm looking for a classic game" Thread

The 8+ year search is over! Found it! It's called Monsters of Terror originally for MS-DOS but was left unfinished and unreleased. Not sure how my brother got a copy. It later turned into an Amiga game. http://www.lazycow.de/monsters/screenshot.png (This was my very first forum post back in 2012) So...

Re: Creating new retro modding community

I wonder. Does this modern era help or hurt such an undertaking? It would probably be a very slow pace, taking on new members, until a few cool mods are released.
