Stan Blazkowicz, one of the main characters in Doom II RPG is a descendant of Wolfenstein RPG's B.J. Blazkowicz. Assuming you consider all these games canon for the same shared universe, does that mean Stan is a descendant of Arthur Blaze... descendant of Billy? Did Commander Keen end up having chil...

Re: keen dream ported

i would like to give keys to everyone here that votes for it, Do you mean Steam keys? That's a nice gesture, but would Valve even allow that? Every key could be considered a potential lost sale. Taking it to the extreme, if you could just give everyone a key you'd basically have a game hosted for f...

I was hoping it was a misunderstanding or technical error or something. The "banned" tag has since been removed. :) I hope you understand it's nothing personal, rather the exact opposite: I don't know you at all, and I am skeptic by nature. I much prefer you being a nice guy that's doing t...

On this project's Greenlight page, when you open Discussions and then A few problems with the IndieGameStand build of the game there is a post by "HardDisk Productions", followed by the "[developer]" tag, followed by the "(Banned)" tag. I can still see the user's profil...

I don't follow how it's a paradox since (as far as we know) there was no time travel involved. Keen somehow ended up in Doomguy's time period. Maybe it's Keen from four different days of the week all travelling into the future. He is BJ's grandson, so he lives around the time the CK game was releas...

Keen and Doomguy are related (spoiler)

Pretty much everybody here knows Keen is the grandson of Wolfenstein's BJ Blazkowicz, and so did I. What I didn't know, until earlier today, that Doomguy is a descendant of BJ as well, making them all related. In Wolfenstein RPG (which I haven't played myself) BJ fights a summoned demon called the H...

Spleen could also be right, because Berkle obviously is a family name if you google it. He is right, Tom Hall explained it in an interview/FAQ/something once. The Berkeloid is named after a boy called Berkle, or similar, who thought of a monster made of fire... or dreamed about such a monster maybe...

Speaking of which, I missed it when I originally watched the series, but I just noticed a mention of the king of the potato people in this Red Dwarf scene on YouTube. :)

she* And yes, that one was made in the full version, bought for 10 bucks. Oops, sorry. I only realized yesterday that you (Keen in Spore) are you (pink shirt, Keen helmet, Tom Hall's blog). Also I only just noticed you corrected me a few minutes ago. No, I haven't been paying attention. :) I would ...

Results with this editor are kinda disappointing if you'd ask me. The editor is a pretty neat tool; it just wasn't built to recreate Keen characters. I hope you're not basing your judgement just on that without having played around with it. :) The trial/demo is free to use. Obviously it's more limi...

Best word to describe Firefox is that it's clumsy, it feels badly designed to me, it's always frustrating me if I have to use it on somewhere. :garg Mostly while browsing you use your mouse, and that works about the same across all major browsers. Maybe some keyboard shortcut keys and the like are ...

I also quickly found out she's the same person quickly and had a "Hey!" moment there.

Tom posted another Keen-related picture on his site/blog by the way.
Actually it's about Wizard 101 (as well).
