The fact that you think someone has to be either a feminist or an MRA just proves how far into the feminist side you've gotten. It's perfectly possible - and indeed, reasonable - to be neither. Some people like the term "egalitarian" here; personally I see no need to have a label for actually thinki...

Now let's try translating it from the point of a non-Tumblr-brainwashed worldview:

"There is extreme oppression elsewhere in the world, so let's not complain about non-issues like 'manspreading' and 'stare rape', or completely fictional wage gaps, and pretend that it makes us far more oppressed."

I never said it was impossible. Just highly improbable based on what limited info that I have...and most of said info is based on what Tom Hall has personally stated...so, I haven't actually tried to obtain the rights myself. One thing I do know for sure is this, strictly based on basic economic la...

I wasn't so much judging your platform choice (it's a fine platform), I was just surprised they were still being manufactured. Have they come down in price much? I remember them costing like A$800 when they came out, but Australians always pay more for tech. I don't think they're still being made (...

1920x1080. At first I didn't think it'd be a huge deal (certianly, 720p vs 1080p has never bothered me on consoles), but now I honestly don't know how I lived without it. The extra space is just too useful. :D

It's that gas from your ass,
It's that toot from your boot,
That hum from your bum,
It's that loot in your chute,

All that air from your own derriere,
Come on and set it free! Cause farts are liberty!

In a way, their thinking is understandable. Basically, what it comes down to is that there's two ways to cut gun crime. The first is to ensure as few people as possible have guns. You can't commit a gun crime if you don't have a gun. Of course, there'll be the odd member of organised crime syndicate...

Polygamy doesn't appeal to me. But, if people want to do it... that's fine, as long as everyone involved is okay with it. I could see some validity in arguing that someone is being oppressed (although let me be clear here - this can apply in both directions, it is not exclusively applicable to when ...

Well... not exactly. Firstly it tends to encourage gender imbalance, each man with many wives means some men will have no wives. This tends to create a number of sexually frustrated young men. This is one reason why countries that allow polygamy are more violent. (Iran, Iraq, Pakistan! Surely count...

Not sure about the rest of NZ but Auckland sure has them. What about down there, Levellass? I'd be interested to know where exactly in Auckland you've seen them. I sure haven't seen anything other than CDs (or digital downloads) for a very long time, apart from the occasional case of vinyl in speci...

I don't claim to be an expert, but from what I can gather, Ayn Rand is a woman who's responsible for a lot of modern so-called "libertarian" ideology. The most common quote from her I've heard is (this is paraphrased) "The smallest minority is the individual; if you don't defend individual rights, y...
