Re: What Music Are You Listening To?

Recently I started listening to the songs of a Czech pop singer Iveta Bartošová. I normally did not listen to this sort of music, but I really started liking this for some reason, especially the fairy-tale themed, medeival-ish-themed, and emotional songs. But most importantly, why I am writing this ...

Re: Shortcuts

Not sure if this one counts as a shortcut:
In the Moon pyramid, if you find the secret to get on top of the pyramid (above the big yellow bricks), go to the right border of level and you'll be able to exit the level without having the yellow gem.

Re: Power Trip - 9 levels for HERETIC

Thanks for your feedback on my level too. Maybe I'll disappoint you but I'm not going to make any more levels. The reason is I'm lacking both the time and inspiration/creativity to make more levels. If you're looking for something really good to play for Heretic, I can recommend you a level pack I w...

Re: Power Trip - 9 levels for HERETIC

Thank you for posting this! I've played Heretic really lot in my life, as it was my first 3D game I owned, even before I got Doom. Nowadays I am playing various level packs and "megawads" for Heretic. There are not so many of them as there are for Doom, so I'm always looking for some new Heretic stu...

Re: Dave in Danger - so bad you have to play it

This game does not work on your device.
System Requirements:
OS Windows 10
Grrrrrrr. :barf Instant reason why not to play the game (simply because I can't). :dead2

Re: Hocus Pocus title screen theme arrangement

Heh. Before I saw the video I actually thought it would be your custom MIDI which would replace the original title music. I was also looking at the custom level which you showed in the video. Apparently you firuged out how to use the editor pretty well, that's nifty. Actually, for some time already,...

Re: [Release] Vinyl Goddess from Mars Level editor + level pack

Would be nice to see a good Jill of the Jungle level editor (most likely the full version of JillEdit can't be acquired anymore and the in-game editor, though usable, could stand to be more user friendly), but it's certainly easier to sit around and talk about what level editors one would like to e...

Is Camoto and Malvineous still active?

Hello. I was wondering if Malvineous is still (or will be) actively working on Camoto Studio, or he stopped all his work or even totally abandoned it. I could not see any activity on Camoto Studio during the last year at all, and I was trying to contact Malvineous with e-mails, but he did not respon...

There's no download link for Doom Pocus. You're right. This is actually not a playable mod, I made it just for a quick demonstration of the new HocusEditor features and modding possibilities. The sprites are not aligned and do not look very good because of resizing from their original size. Apart f...

Hello and merry Christmas! I wanted to tell you that I just found a Hocus Pocus graphics mod from the very past on the old forums. It is a Xmas-themed mod which changes the graphics of the first episode and was made by "Unknown Rabbit" (probably it's VioletCLM). I tried it and looks pretty nice, esp...

Good news - This project is still alive and today it received an update!
Apparently whole episode 2 was finished, so there are two complete episodes to have fun with!

Good news everyone! Release of HocusEditor version 1.2 is here! With this new version, HocusEditor is no longer just a level editor, but it has developed into a complex modding tool for this awesome and popular classic VGA platformer! Now, all kinds of graphics, most notably sprites, are editable - ...

Thank you K1n9_Duk3 for your reply. I had absolutely no idea what "__hpgrvs.exe" was. I once tried to use Gravis Ultrasound in Dosbox but could not make it work. And about the HOCUS.EXE patching. I just made this functionality! And it also works between different game versions, it seems I figured ou...
