Duck Dodgers teleporter

I was watching Duck Dodgers in the 24½th Century and I noticed the teleporters (they were known as "evaporators" back in 1953 :p) in that cartoon looked quite familiar. I guess Tom Hall wasn't lying when he said "Duck Dodgers in the 24-1/2 Century" was an influence for Commander Keen.

The CGA versions seem quite a mad thing to do, especially since they didn't make ones of Keen 1-3 which were even earlier games. The reason why no CGA version of Keen 1-3 was ever made was probably primarily because John Carmack didn't know how to do smooth scrolling on CGA setups at the time, the ...

I've got WinRAR and when I right-click on a self-extracting exe there's an option to open the file with WinRAR so I can extract the files to a place where I want them. Maybe this also works with duke2r.exe.

There's a screenshot of Keen 5 and 6 in CGA in the CGA version of Keen 4 in the help screen or order screen. Just press F1 and browse around.

Why don't you just ask/email the author of the game. According to her Apogee Legacy interview "she really values the emails she gets from players of her games. It gives her a real lift to know that folks appreciate what she created."
