Maybe you should clarify what areas you exactly mean, so our modders can get a better idea of what you mean...? Just post some screenshots via imgur or an other service.

Maybe modders should consider to include an unlocksystem that allows to play hardmode only if you finished a normal run?

I will play it if its not too hard! Just always remember that the player needs some kind of rewards while playing this difficulty. Nisaba was right, checkpoints would definetly help out if you want to keep this difficulty and length of levels.
