Re: Short Circuit Oracle (My Keen Galaxy modding debut!!)

Regarding the mooning crash, I'm pretty sure you need infoplane tile 004Bh somewhere in the level to cache Keen's mooning sprites . I haven't got a chance to actually play yet, but I'm already super impressed! Galaxy modding is challenging; it's really amazing that you did all this on your first pro...

Re: The Sunnylands (K4 levelpack)

I finished the pack on Normal, except for any secret level(s). I'll add my compliments to those above -- this is an excellent level pack, and especially amazing for being your first Galaxy modding production. Overall the difficulty was low, but there were one or two points of fair challenge. There's...

Coming summer 2018: Keen Modding Live!

I've been too busy recently to prepare any Keen Day releases, so here's a status update on a work-in-progress. A while back, I proposed a system to catalyze the creation and consumption of new single levels. A few months back, I started working on it. I call it Keen Modding Live and it's coming alo...

Re: Anybody here?

I'm still here in the background, reading everything, destroying spammers, etc. Earlier today I renewed all the SSL certificates on my server -- interestingly, they were previously about to expire on March 14.

Re: [v2.10] Abiathar: The superior Keen Galaxy editor

UPDATE v2.10: far more friendly to new users The first Abiathar update of 2018! :birthday The out-of-box experience was previously a dialog with sixteen checkboxes and a bunch of text. Needless to say, that could afford some improvement as a new user's first impression. That's been replaced with a ...

Re: Welcome to the migrated PCKF!

Both the PCKF and KM have just been updated to phpBB 3.2.2. The most noticeable change is that the subforum icons should look crisper after a hard reload. People who have been having trouble with avatars: please try again now and see if the update fixed it. If not, please let me know.

Re: Welcome to the migrated PCKF!

Excellent, thanks Roobar! The logo should be live now; if it's not, please try a hard refresh (Ctrl+F5).

There's a new phpBB version out, so I'll be updating both forums soon.

Re: Welcome to the migrated PCKF!

The phpBB-style "PCKF" one looks really nice as a temporary fix until I can get some custom CSS going on. Could someone please make a transparent version of it? I'd put it up immediately. Regarding direct access to files on the server: unfortunately I can't allow that due to security concerns, but I...

Re: OFF TOPIC THREAD: Where derailing the thread is impossible!

Rorie, we do not ban people for expressing their views, but all discussion must be nice. Rudeness is not acceptable regardless of the subject or your opinion. You may return on April 19, 2019.

On a more fun note, I present Slate Star Codex's Weird Psychiatric Ads of the Seventies.

Re: Welcome to the migrated PCKF!

Wow, it's been one full year since the migration and update! :O

Yeah I've been meaning to re-Keen-ify the place but somehow never got around to it, oops. Thanks everyone for your offers of help and graphics! Hopefully we can get at least a logo in soon.

Re: Planet Of Agony (Keen 1 mod)

At Ceilick's request, I've moved the discussion on checkpoints to a new thread . Back on topic: I started playing this a month or so ago and completed a handful of levels (about 8 I think?). That was a while back, so hopefully my recollections are accurate. I should have some time over the next few ...

Re: Dropbox Public Folder Change

Oh whoops, I completely forgot to answer that question, sorry! Unfortunately it's not as simple as giving people FTP accounts, since they could do sneaky things like upload .htaccess files that enable PHP execution, and then they could upload and run arbitrary PHP code, which would be Very Bad. If t...

BTS's recent Mic Drop and DNA are pretty great. I wish I was coordinated enough to do the dances to them.
