To play "Keen 9: Battle of the Brains", you need to already have "Keen 5: The Armageddon Machine" somewhere on your computer already, as Keen 9 is a modification of Keen 5 and, as Keen 5 is still sold, it's illegal to include it with the Keen 9 package. You will need to unzip the Keen 8 and Keen 9 p...

Oh ok. Still interesting though. Too bad the thing is just a big troll instead of a legit secret area. As I had said it was originally supposed to a reachable secret area. I wish I knew what happened between the time the level was first created to the time the game was finally released. My guess is...

I wondering how on earth do you support the monroe doctorine? When did I ever say I supported it? I was citing it as the first recorded example of what you were complaining about. This is old news, Scarlet. We've been doing this crap for almost 200 years now. The only difference is that the rest of...

It is unofficial policy to go in and destabilize/screw countries. Yeah, we've only been doing that for the past 200 years :eyeroll: Seriously, go study up on the Monroe Doctrine at some point; it set the precedent. I find it darkly hilarious that we've been doing this sort of crap for our entire hi...

no wonder why 9/11 happened cuz the united states stuck there nose in the middle east This is a whole different can of worms, but because the US is allied with Israel, we would have been attacked regardless of whether or not we were actively in the middle east... simply for being allied with Israel...

Granted. The thread enjoys a quiet form of popularity as people re-read the thread, get all nostalgic, and then subsequently realize that all the good jokes have been done already - thereby giving the readers the feeling that they can't possibly top the wishes already done. In approximately five yea...

This is probably something that should be asked at 3DRealms (or Moonlite Software, if you can get ahold of them), although I would think the standard proprietary software end-user license agreement would apply: Do not redistribute the paid version, do not reverse-engineer, do not pass go, do not col...

Yeah - they go in the direction that you're closer to. If you stand on his left eye, he goes left. Same with the right eye.

I think that we're getting 9 and 8 fixes first because they're mostly just game fixes and not also cosmetic adjustments.

Well, if nothing else, I can get to where I presume is halfway through Lava Lake now ^^;

Strangely though, I think one of the shortfall goplats disappeared on my when my back was turned. I'll see if I can't replicate this one; does anyone know if the idle animations screw up goplats?

Technically that's not true; I've found that it's easier for me to impossible pogo with Z+C instead of Z+X. Just Pogo-ing, with no impossible pogo start, is something I rarely do.

Keen is the exception to the rule in this case.

Jayo, the main problem I see with that suggestion about the next-to-last key, is that the game only checks to see if you have all the other Council Members or not when you collect one - if you don't, it gives the conversation that's keyed to that Council Member and boots you back to the world map on...
