@Ceilick That looks tight. There's an unfortunate lack of mods that venture beyond the realm of the Keen universe...
@Nisaba: Sure, go ahead~
I'm... surprised that you like the song that much; thanks. Normally music doesn't turn out so well for me (especially that long ago).

Re: The Alphamatic
Gosh, yes. Keen 5 is my favourite episode. I'm looking forward to it.
Very nice video, by the way.

Re: Abandoned/ Unfinished Keen mods thread
@Plasma Captain: Sounds good and looks that, too. Is it a space western? That title screen is amazing. Definitely hoping this one progresses at some point. Thanks. Yeah, it kind of is - it's supposed to have that sort of atmosphere, anyway. The idea of the unused desert town appealed to me so I wan...

Re: Abandoned/ Unfinished Keen mods thread
Yeah, okay, sure. It's not like I'm ever going to have the time to complete this. The whole reason why I joined the modding forum some years ago was for the purpose of asking questions, if I remember correctly. I was working on a mod of Keen 4. It was supposed to be the first part of a trilogy of mo...

Re: Questions for Tom Hall
Probably, and I doubt that they had planned the story that far anyway, but I vaguely remember somebody bringing it up in an earlier discussion about the tile, so I thought it might be relevant. (insert Keen shrugging emoticon here)

Re: Questions for Tom Hall
That, and the Dort: And an unrelated question to boot: Would he please draw us a sketch of a Dort, and maybe also a sketch of the guys that were supposed to kick Keen in Hillville? (Do any graphics of these enemies exist?) This also reminds me of another question that I'd thought of, but forgot to a...

Re: Keen 64: Unity (Release 7: Super Keen 64 Jumping)
The pogo camera is pretty much perfect now. It snaps harshly a bit upon landing from a long drop (when the camera tries to realign) but other than that, it looks really good and is far easier to control in my opinion. I see now what you meant about adjusting the camera's z-level when Keen is jumping...

Re: Galaxy Defender. This time for real
Wow, this is really cool. It's crazy, the kinds of things you guys are building with the Keen engine... I'd love to see this turned into a longer game.

Re: Keen 64: Unity (Release 6: How The POGO Got Its Groove Back)
This is looking good! Something about the pogo and jumping - I feel like the camera shouldn't raise during a normal jump or even a normal pogo (the zoom-out feature of the pogo is great though). Because jumping is so integral to the game, the resulting bouncing effect is somewhat jarring. If you can...

Not a single night passes that young Billy doesn't dream of the event. Not one single night. If every nightmare was the same, maybe he could come to terms with what happened and finally move on. But they aren't. Each dream twists the landscape of his memory into unfamiliar new labyrinths, smoke fill...

Re: Keen IRC Channel
I have been a part of a Discord server for a (non-Keen) fangame for about a year (as well as a couple of other servers here and there) and a mod for a month or two, and I've got to say, it's pretty great. The only complaint I ever had was that it was missing a search function, but they implemented o...

Hahah, I'm sorry that you don't like the music. It remains a work-in-progress and will likely take the biggest chunk of development time overall. I'm always open to constructive criticism. Thanks for backing! The only thing the players can do is run, so no bombs - you have to outmaneuver your oppone...

Re: Questions for Tom Hall
The thing about Mortimer and Keen's IQ is very interesting, and I don't remember having read that before. My assumption is that the series would have ended tongue-in-cheek, like Mortimer being grounded for his bad behaviour or something similarly referential to the young age of the characters. The i...
