It's a mockup in the sense that the sprites are actually in the game, but they are static objects, meaning there are no animations or rotations for them. Aye, that makes a lot of sense. I love the trees forming some kind of skywall around the room... what is with that? They are clearly drawn on top...

The fact that Keen hits terminal velocity pretty much instantly implies that the gravitational pull is perfectly strong enough and the slow speed of descent is caused entirely by the oxygen-soup thing.
