Yup. I've noticed the forums here are a lot more active than other ones that I'd consider more current and more popular.
Definitely depends more on the community than the content.

Some things are iconic I suppose. Don't get why the genie at least didn't have golden bracers/arm bands or something in place of shackles. I'm uncertain if Vorts wear jumpsuits or if it's pants with a shirt tucked in. Either way it'd look weird without a belt. But post slavery societies usually get ...

Right, that would make sense. Keen never had to remove the belts on all the Vorts after he defeated the mangling machine.

From Age of Zombies by Half Brick.
Menu's certainly look inspired by the Keen Galaxy ones.

The same difference between the old Donkey Kong Country(SNES) and the new one(Wii/3DS). 2.5D is like the newer one.

Btw, not related to this subject, but still Duke Nukem: there's a fan made very pixelated Duke Nukem 2.5 http://gamejolt.com/games/shooter/duke-nukem-2-5/28317/ It fascinates me that some people are making "retro" style games with HUGE low res graphics, I.E. having characters a few pixels...

It takes a while to load for me. Give it a minute or so because the initial animation seems pretty massive. That would make sense. My work has a 50Mbps connection, but they throttle their grunts down to 1 Mbps, and block flash player. Used to be able to install Chrome to get around that. Think we c...

I'd certainly like to have a MS Surface. But couldn't afford one. Having Windows 8 on it wouldn't be a deal breaker for me. Just something to get used to. Not like you can't bring up the desktop anyway, just things that used to be easy and up front take some learnin' to bring up again. IF someone is...

Next up is the Vorticon, and I've been avoiding him for a while now, haha. Not really looking forward to making a dog-person-thing in a uniform. Anyone have any good ideas of how he could look translated into 3D?[/url] This has been up for debate for a while, as there's not a whole lot to interpret...

The bible is full of murder, rape, incest, and mass genocide. About God saving mankind over and over. Violence has a perfect place in the Bible, it illustrates the need for correction and guidance.
