well the reverse is kinda happening to me, I was a Firefox user since the start of time but over the last year it's been really slow to load pages in general (i tried quickfixes that worked before but no use this time) so it's been Chrome for me the past year. I've had absolutely no problems with Ch...

i'd second DoomJedi's comment, this project looks like it's going great don't get me wrong but I think it is let down by the sprites. They should have a lot more time put into upgrading them to smooth borders, the semi-eroded pixels don't work imho. I'd offer to work on one or two sprites myself e.g...

hmmm the only problem I have with Adobe's Flash is that it has long-since outstripped the capabilities of my windows 98 machine with Firefox 2 to watch youtube. That is despite the exact same videos being on youtube that used to work on that very computer. but Keening_Product it sounds like you've h...

I guess that's one of the winning characteristics of Keen games: an environment that (albeit subtly) changes itself. I.e. obstacles such as the mimrocks and bounders and in this case mad mushrooms will move around, changing the difficulty of different areas of the level. So yeah I defo don't think o...

One should in my opinion be wary of such security techniques as they can fail to load. For example, I tried to open a Ubuntu1 storage account recently but couldn't because it persistently failed to load the captcha. Closer to home, do any of you guys find that if, on the pckf, you click on 'profile'...

a strange one, last night I dreamed that KeenRush correctly guessed my password for Bebo (who even uses that site anymore??) and then changed it while I stood by helplessly, and this was somehow a source of great worry to me and I tried and failed to hack his Bebo password to no avail. And I think I...

he raises an interesting point. why indeed can keen not dream up whatever he wants in KDreams? then again, if we all could control what we dream up then dreams would be a thousand times better! it is an oddball, one cannot deny; but not bad of course!!! good find! i'm glad he gave a (brief) mention ...

is that definitely true, VBB? I am just thinking of music where I think if you have a cassette or vinyl you are not permitted to digitize it and instead must purchase a digital version. Maybe it's different for old video games!

went digging around the house today and found a little fanpic I made more than ten years ago (perhaps 2001), thought it warranted a share! (I used the extremely useful 'adjust levels' feature of Paint Shop Pro 7, a piece of software to which I am ever loyal, to perk up the colours a little). http://...

just re: your definition of LHS, I wouldn't limit it to levelpacks/mods and fangames as I'm sure one could criticise some official Keen levels, and indeed levels of other video games, for LHS also. But good idea anyhow!

I apologise, elecdude33. I did not mean to (and didn't) speak about the genuineness or otherwise of anyone else besides those who are posting regularly on K:M. But yes that term was not necessary.
