I don't think so. The idea with portals is one of the (few) things that work better in 3D rather than 2D. I've played 2-3 2D portal games and they were crap. The idea just doesn't work well in 2D. Half-Life's engined Portal is what portals are all about.

Anyway, I'm playing it now. HOLY GARG! That cutscene is neat! Why oh why did they get rid of it? I have a few guesses. 1. I don't think it's a memory prob. It's more like a differences between the versions. It crashes on my version too.
