Re: Keen Upgrades/Downgrades thread
Is there a patch for making Episode 6 version 1.5 into version 1.4? I can't play AAMBA with my current version.

I finally am on Spring Break and thus started this game yesterday. Likes: Title Screen-I think Mort's smile is the essence of evil genius. Mountains- I enjoyed the split-level design in Dead in the Desert, and I'm glad you used it again. Flag Holders- I just decoded the SGA The Shikadi's (Shikadis'?...

Re: The Keys of Krodacia: Revision Discussion
I think I said this before, but I like the design of the slurple. They're kind of cute. They do, however, jump really high for globs of slime. Maybe they could be made to jump at a slightly lower height. In connection with slurples, I think maybe the Slime Temple could be relabeled "Slurple Cit...

Where can I get MP3s of Keen music?
I'd like to download most of the songs from Keens 4-6 so I can listen to them on my MP3 player. The only site I found, Keito's page, where I downloaded the unused Keen 5 song, is no longer extant. I downloaded the music pack from the Keen Wiki, but when I tried to extract the files, I got a message ...

Re: The Keys of Krodacia: Revision Discussion
I think many people have addressed most of my concerns. The ones that remain for me are mostly grammar, usage, and punctuation. Yes, I am one of those people, but I think polishing the three abovementioned areas would help make a more professional-looking mod.
First, all instances of "canon'' should be "cannon."
Second, the ending sequence could be improved.
On page five, where Mortimer first addresses Keen, he says, "...The doors have closed behind you and their is no escape." That's the wrong form of the word. It should be "there."
On page six, Mortimer says, "This isn't really a Universal Toaster Canon, what a stupid idea." It should be, "This isn't really a Universal Toaster Cannon; what a stupid idea." Avoid comma splices.
On page seven, there should be a comma after "forever."
On page eight, there should be a comma after "time."
Whenever Keen finds a key, he says, "Alright! This is a key to Mort's base!" "Alright" is not a standard word and should be written out as two words.
One of the key-find texts displays this: "I wonder where the rest of the keys are?" That is an indirect question, and indirect questions do not require a question mark.
There are some errors in the help file, but I’ll put them up later when I run my copy of “The Keys of Krodacia†the next time.

How would I install Dead in the Desert on Windows 95?
I bought a USB floppy drive online so I could install Keen 6 on a Vista computer with a view to playing Dead in the Desert. However, the drive asked me to format every disk I put in it. After about five minutes of research online, I think I found that my problem. I believe that the device needs new ...
