I'll be sure to check it out. Although I liked the Giant Cactoid as it was. :disguised

You might want to edit the first post, also.

The book has its moments though, so I'll be finishing (and reporting any keenisms i find), but I wont be picking up the second book in a hurry. As I said, the second book is really the best one. I wasn't too impressed by much of the first one either. Then it starts going vaguely downhill (with occa...

And kind of off topic but regarding the book: I've been immensely disappointed with it. The writing style is bland and predictable and the majority of the jokes just have me rolling my eyes. After hearing all these great things about this series, from pretty much everyone I've talked to who has rea...

Well you don't seem to realize that CG/CKP is Commander Genius aka Clone Keen Plus, which is a program that is still under development that runs Keen games with some extra features (music is one of them), so it's pretty modern and isn't restricted to early nineties tech. I see, thanks for the expla...

The music has to be .ogg format, which means you can make anything you like and I can convert it to .ogg. Aliens vs. Keen had a music file in midi format as a soundtrack, but that's the only mod I know that did this so far. So basically, no restrictions? I wonder how that's possible... that's not e...

For a couple of years ago, I actually planned to make a Commander Keen RPG with RPG Maker. It was supposed to be a recreation of CK4 as an RPG. I made graphics, and music. Then I got tired of making it so I deleted everything. If I added that game to the Abandoned Fangames section, no one will dele...

What format can the music be? Is there a mod that has tried that?

I'd be willing to volunteer to make some music for this mod, if it's technically possible to make something nice-sounding (I'd have to do some tests first) and if Commander Spleen is agreeable.

And a Youtube video! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W2-aVFGSsBw I actually just discovered your 2004 beta today (I had already left the Keen community by the time that it was released). It looks and plays amazing. The only thing missing is atmospheric wizardy music, which is unfortunately not possib...

My initial opinion of DotD was that it was as good as an official Keen game. However, I'm now replaying Keen 5 for the first time in years, and I now definitely think that I like DotD better. Keen5's beginning and end-story is somewhat better, but DotD's levels are often more interesting (and much m...

Your link in this post here links to downloading Benvolio's Puzzle Level. Thanks, I fixed it. Do you think it would make sense to have a separate list for the levelpacks, or even a separate page? Or should they be added to the existing list, with an extra sortable column describing if something is ...

did you try to shoot the remains? Hmm, I can see how that might be potentially confusing. I wonder if, for the eventual "upgrade", it would make sense to change the "stunned" animation for the Impostor Keen to one of him swaying from side to side, to make it more obvious that yo...

Is there actually a way to pass that red door? I got stuck pretty early on. And died way too many times. I'd have to say that: -yes, the graphics are also too dark (especially greyish) for my taste -interesting and creative enemy behaviour, but yes... you might be trying a little too hard with makin...

Due to requests on the talk page, I've also redone the wiki's List of Vorticon Mods to be in a similar style. Some of the information is still missing (including some download links), so please add it in if you can. I think there probably needs to be a similar, separate page created specifically for...
