Interesting list. Gut feeling would have told me something similar for the peak years, but I am also surprised that it didn't really decline that much in the recent years.

I tend to like stronger contrasts between light and dark colours more in ega, but depends on what you are doing with it. If palette patching is involved I usually like if the hue is changed recognizably. See the master of palette patching Benvolio's mods for example. Vanished to Venus is an excellen...

I don't fully understand what the problem is. How it should work: CGenius comes bundled with keen 1 and 4 because those are shareware and free to be distributed. Once installed CGenius has a keen1 and a keen4 directory in its games folder. In the same manner you can yourself add other games to that ...

Thanks for your detailed feedback DaVince. Whoa, nice. I had an idea for this kind of thing once, but with longer stories. Making it shorter like this is actually a lot more engaging! And the app is well-made, too. :) I'd love it if you could write a little bit more when adding a new option with a r...

I always loved the Diablo I soundtrack for its atmospheric character.
But apparently Blizzard is not a guarantee for a good soundtrack (see Warcraft 3 which is one of my favourite games, but the music is sucky)

Yes it is beatable, I have done it myself once at least. but it takes some tries. Those levels by unfleexable are extremely difficult at times.

Why in all world would you guys go to that 2000something XP pseudo 3D object style now when flat is king?

apart from us probably not succeeding in contacting our only real admin adurdin for this, I think the current design is much more keenish and modern feeling than the suggestion.

That sounds very much like you god-moded your way through the level ;)
