This is most vexing, I only just managed to get rid of Xky, and now I have another modding rival. Curses. This will force me to work hard and be inventive!

I don't know about sounds, but KeenWave: http://levellord.toxicsheep.com/KWbeta.zip will extract the PC sounds and music from Keens 4-6 as wave files. (Adlib sounds are distorted.)

What problems exactly are you having with the platforms? Are they not behaving?

Well, firstly, I doubt anyone would much care, as it's only one zip file, and secondly, this thing happens, version two has all the stuff from version one, an such. I shouldn't worry about it.

The game, which was to be an official episode, was never produced, much like The Universe Is Toast.

It is in fact possible to mod the graphics of Keen Dreams, and I did indeed try this, but a full mod was not completed.

Is it just me, or is anyone else interested in hearing ALL of the Keen music like this?

Apparently there is some site for free hosting of Keen-related files, but I have forgotten where it is and who runs it. Sorry.

I have some remixed music files, but not many, most of mine are in the original IMF format.

From my troubles with Jazz Jackrabbit, I have found this occurs when my Windows XP can't process the information it's getting from Dosbox, certain PSM (Music) samples don't play unless I turn down the framerate. Maybe your Windows 98 is interpreting the Adlib data differently? Like how midi files so...

I have the PC dopefish burp, but only Napalm has the adlib version in high quality.

Fileview is nice, but its extraction of Keen sounds is terrible!
