Yes, look at the picture I posted yesterday. The silver bars jutting out are ladder steps.

No, that's not what I meant. Those metal bars jutting out of the bridge are ladder rungs. The cactus is climbable, but I haven't put in the damaging objects yet.

A slight tile miscalculation, but easily fixable. (Wasn't sure where the player held onto the gripping tiles, so it looks like Cosmo's floating in mid-air.) On the other hand, isn't anyone going to get him down off the Golden Gate Bridge? :p 8) https://www.dropbox.com/s/iyqmd1v9ajr2c38/GET%20ME%20DO...

The only side effect is that Cosmo wouldn't be able to move while crouching. (He could move, he'd just lose his crouching stance.)

Although I don't think that'd be a problem. It would only be for dodging a projectile that you would only be able to dodge by jumping otherwise.
I.E. a quick crouch.

Not exactly what I meant. This instance wouldn't have to be programmed in. I think only the height of the sprite would have to be adjusted.

I'm looking at the player (Cosmo himself) sprites as I'm (re)drawing them, and I'm wondering if a new player mechanic could be in order (simple, but maybe effective). How would you like Cosmo to be able to crouch in order to avoid enemy projectiles? (as well as look downwards to see what's under his...

Let me put together a temporary level fix. (Temporary 'cause that desert hill doesn't look correct to me.)

In the first level, are you supposed to fall through the ground on the first hill? No, that's a mis-built hill. I have to make some easier-to-build slopes, because it's hard, with the method that the engine uses; Flagging a tile as "sloped" doesn't actually make it sloped. It makes the ti...

No. I think I've stuck in one level, which is impossible to finish. You're probably trapped in level 4. That's all right. I didn't really finish anything past that, or put an exit object in that level. (But you can get to one of the more completed bonus levels by collecting all the batteries at the...

Cosday 2015: Cosmo II Episode I Alpha

https://www.dropbox.com/s/89ytneeoz5r33dn/COSMO%20II%20COSDAY%20RELEASE.zip?dl=0 Since this is the day Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure was released in 1992 (ask Levellass, she suggested it be called "Cosday"), I'm releasing an alpha test of "HUMANIZED!!!" As such, it's in a very rough s...

Ok, I take it back. It does sound pretty silly when I think about it. (I already told someone from 3DRealms about the mod last year, and she didn't seem to take legal offense to it.) Anyways, here's the Cosday 2015 Alpha Release of Cosmo II: https://www.dropbox.com/s/89ytneeoz5r33dn/COSMO%20II%20COS...
