Pretty much. I think it's part of the soundtrack and really important. It's different from usual game music, which is piano and drum based. Even the guitar/leads are a little non-traditional.

Yeah, but it doesn't give you any idea on how to jump perfectly, which you have to do to get Loot Bonuses on E2L8 and E1L5 (and to some extent E1L.. 7, I think).

Pretty interesting, although could be better. Good to see the MT-32 being used for some Apogee music, don't think outside of my own works that it ever has.

I don't see a whole lot of quality difference TBH, although yours is the better one. Sound is better in mine though.
