I haven't played much just yet, but I like it! I too am surprised that this was pulled off in under a year! You must have a tonne of time up your sleeve! You really will have to teach me how to complete visually beautiful graphics in such a small amount of time! I'm tired of slaving over ms paint fo...

What's news with this mod? Same as it has been for ages now. I've been really weighed down by school work lately and I just haven't been finding any time to spend on modding. I've got to contact levellass about animation and behavior for a certain enemy, but again, time has prohibited me from sitti...

BOUMP!! I saw this thread ages ago and planned on retelling my own accounts, but I was pretty held up. When I was a kid the only Keen game we had on our old Windows 3.x was Keen 4, which I am very thankful for, by far the best Keen. I began watching others play Keen when I was four years old and beg...

Cheers guys! In regards to having the option of what side (good/evil) the player can choose, I reckon you're on the right track Ceilick, and I reckon this'd be an appropriate change to my original idea! I do have an idea for a level that will 'mesh' really well with having the big decision in the mi...

Thanks for all of the feedback guys! Forgot to mention that the new brown is thanks to lemm, who sorted it out with me one Saturday afternoon. I'm lucky because before that I was using the light red for all of the brown. I also forgot to mention in my first post is how, Suburbs was more of a project...

The Ocflore Project

THE OCFLORE PROJECT (working title) https://tinyurl.com/vxdqsko Christmas 2K15 Update Merry Christmas everyone! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cuWoj0B4lAg I've put together a one level demo video for this Christmas update for everyone to check out. Without a composer I chose to add some background...

Good to hear a couple of people have got things planned! I have something quiet big to show (don't I TK?), but unfortunately it won't be Suburb Shenanigans. All that's holding it back is one boss patch from Levellass, who hasn't shown her face for a week or two around here. It's been 99% done since ...

Really well done! Was this done in mspaint and then tested in game? Because that'd be really tiresome and tedious.

These are some real nice enemies Ceilick!
I'm glad that this is coming along quickly, without many interuptions!

It's great to see that you took some inspiration from the Flatswood Monster. I'm also taking inspiration from various cryptids for my next project.

Yep, I remember reading that on the Wikia. Some baddies need a pogo-ing before a stunning. I wonder, has anyone considered modding the GBC game for the PC in any way? I don't reckon it'd be possible. Can all of the 'stuff' that needs to be extracted for it to be modded be obtained from a rom? Also,...

Does anyone remember that show? Sounds like "plonsters" to me. The show featured three plasticine guys that would transform into various objects and animals depending on the setting of the episode. Also soup opera. These are the shows I miss. They make little sense, but mean so much compa...

and there was also a clay motion fill in on ABC TV Australia called The Trap Door, I absolutely loved it. I'm no nineties kid, but The Trap Door would have to be the best kids show ever! I have the whole two series on DVD. Children's television these days is complete garg, well at least in Australia.

So today is the (hopefully only) annual Suburbs update So much for that eh? It sure is close though. I'm really up to the point where I've started planning out my next mod (well I've had some great ideas floating around for almost two years now, just putting them on paper now). I can do this becaus...

Keen Graphics editing

Hello everyone! As my current mod is winding up, I'm looking back at how tiresome and how much of a pain the graphics were to construct in mspaint with a cruddy mouse. I really don't want this set up for my future mod endeavours and I was wondering what the rest of you guys use for graphics editing....

This is looking really good! Amazing visuals!

I hope you don't end up with the same problem I had with my mod, over flowing tile sets. There's only so many tiles you can fit into a tile set when the game is based in the suburbs.

But, this is really outstanding, keep up the good work!
