For Keen 1-3 I suggest you to use http://clonekeenplus.sourceforge.net/ 10 times better. Soon you'll be able to play even the galaxy series.

From the free mod archive, but it doesn't matter. When you're trying to make a great game, try to borrow a great tune.

Yes, I tried that. And it's crazy in the menus. It's blinking and it's super fast no matter how I reduce cpu cycles. Stargunner of course.

Edit: right. I should stick with specific cycles instead of the default auto cycles.

Wow! That was surprising! Very clever indeed! It's funny that no one has ever been talked or tried to remake Keen 1-3 with the Keen Galaxy engine to date. It looks and plays good.
