Re: New PCKF Logo
Thanks everyone for the great ideas! I've updated the header with Nisaba's yorp logo. You may need to do a hard refresh to also get the CSS that specifies header dimensions that fit the new logo. I have some more time now that university is done, so I can look into theming (finally!) and logo random...

Hi alexawiliams784, and welcome to the PCKF! Which links aren't working for you? The MediaFire download in the post linked above appears to work for me.

Re: [v2.11.2] Abiathar: The superior Keen Galaxy editor
Wow, it's been almost two years since the last update! I've been pretty absent other than checking reviewing new posts to prevent spam, oops. At least a few months back, Nisaba (I think) asked for a feature, which I implemented and then didn't publicly release for a long time, so I figure I should d...

Re: Record amount of users online on both forums
There was an incredible amount of almost certainly automated activity from a certain IP address range. I had to ban a pretty large block of IPs, but as far as I can tell we don't have any normal traffic from that part of the world, and I can revisit the ban when the onslaught calms down. Sorry for t...

Re: OFF TOPIC THREAD: Where derailing the thread is impossible!
Sorry for the delay, Rorie, I've been busy with work and stopped by the forum mostly to nuke spammers. I previously gave you some time off for attacking other members. It wasn't a permanent ban because I believe people can change, but evidently some more time is warranted. You may return September 1...

Re: PCKF Post Analytics 2018-2019
This is neat! go through every single post on PCKF and record when they were posted I did a quick query on the database: here's a list of the creation time of every (non-deleted) post on this site, as Unix timestamps . There are only 85,920 existing posts; the total posts statistic on the homepage i...

Re: Blocking users
If you go to your user dropdown in the upper right, then User Control Panel, then the Friends & Foes tab, then the "Manage foes" tab on the left, you can add users whose posts will be hidden to you. (Not sure how I feel about the feature being called "foes", but it's a phpBB ...

Re: The Crazy Komet.
Welcome to the PCKF! To post images, first upload them to an image sharing site like Imgur . The site may give you a fragment of BBCode you can use to embed the image. If not, copy the uploaded image address and put it between [ img] and [/ img]. So this... [img]http://www.shikadi.net/wiki/keen/imag...

Just updated to phpBB 3.2.7 and it looks like avatars somehow vanished. Looking into it now.
Edit: Fixed! Let me know if there are any other issues.

Re: [v2.11.1] Abiathar: The superior Keen Galaxy editor
The Wikipedia table appears to be unchanged. I believe its 55 bytes should be replaced with 54, AA with A8, and FF with FC. Unfortunately I don't remember where I got the standard values from, so it's possible I've misunderstood something.

Welcome to the forum, and wow, nice work! :eek Regarding the mask for graphics, I am happy to report that amazing people like Levellass have produced easier-to-use methods. Keengraph is an alternative to ModKeen that lets you use a special (non-EGA) color to indicate transparent pixels, with no need...

4 posts got pretty heated and were removed. The text TsK quoted was in one of them, in case people are wondering where that came from. I think TsK's response is very well put

Re: [v2.11.1] Abiathar: The superior Keen Galaxy editor
When Abiathar first opens the New Project Wizard, it generates the default configurations and tries to save those to disk in order to save time on subsequent runs. I suspect that it's unable to write to its own directory in Program Files (since that generally requires administrative permissions) and...

Re: Welcome to the migrated PCKF!
Huh, looks like a "security feature" from my hosting provider. It's probably trying to prevent SQL injection attacks. I thought I had disabled all of those, but evidently not. I'll look into it, thanks!
