I'm thinking that at some point I might do a video LP of Keen GBC, though I never got that far on my old GBC, so I might run out of lives before I get through it...

I take it you are one of the few who actually likes Keen GBC?

Pretty much everything about that game is horrible. Graphics, gameplay mechanics, and more.

Actually, it's not. The trouble is, you're comparing it with other Keen games. Think of it instead as a "Keen themed GBC platformer" and you actually realise it's quite good!

Today I have played:

Keen 5 on hard
Clouds Unseen
Shadow Keen 3
Death to the Vorticons 3

A quick question on DTTV 3:

On the KeenWiki, there is a level map for a level called Sudkoka City, but this level is nowhere to be found in the game. Is it a secret level, was it left out of the final game, or do I have an old version of the game?

Finished Keen Q and Keen 6 on hard, now I'm starting Retrosis and AAMBA...

Standalone Faces of Evil and Wand of Gamelon are good games. It's only when you compare them to the real zelda games that they're bad.
But, you see, having Zelda, or in this case Keen in the title, it's INEVITABLE to compare them! They didn't make some other game and not call it keen. They really did have the audacity to make it a 'commander keen' game, and thats why it gets the fail status it deserves. :x

The graphics in keen GBC are actually kind of neat. I like the shikadi design, even though its not a shikadi; would have rather they named it something else. The droidica designs are neat too. The gameplay is very foreign to commander keen though, and the levels are pretty boring. Its really not much more than a mediocre mod in my mind.

Recently played some:
Keen 1 640x680 Redux
Fribbulus Xax Falls
Xky's Keen 3 Contest levels
Silcar 1
Gobo III
How the Vorticon Stole Christmas
Monkey Business Beta
Storyland
ZeroX's minimod

Speaking of hidden, I finally found Colorland in Clouds Unseen. As for Sudkoka City I am going to have to play the entire game all over again, because I have absolutely no idea where to look for it.

Edit: I found it (by total accident!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
