I dunno why, but it did the exact same to me when I tried to play the recorded video in Windows Media Player. WMP sucks.

I believe your video was there, but you didn't have the codec installed correctly,. That way, when you try to play the vid, only the audio is played correctly, because it couldn't decode the video.

finally the codec is delivered with Dosbox 0.74

Hmm... Looks like a combination of the impossible bullet trick with a bug found out before in Keen 4, level 10: Lifewater Oasis.

I was the one who posted this bug to the KeenWiki. There was one particular day where I played with this bug for hours, just to see if I could figure out if I could predict exactly which spots Keen would reappear. It was rather interesting the places Keen would pop up!

If it's that it's only recording the audio, make sure you're using the right key combination. This has happened to me a lot in the past.
