Actually, I think the shocksunds are far harder to elude than robo red.

Oh my god, just thinking about the shockshund placement in Neutrino Burst Injector gives me chills. Most evil enemy ever.

It shows. Do you think "Commander Neek" is Commander Mean?

I love that book - the sense of humor of the team (I assume that's who wrote it - anyone know otherwise?) really shows through. "Stick em on your face"!

This is going to be a :foot situation, but I've been wondering for ages now who on Mars is Commander Mean!??!

They might be in facebook?

Very interesting newsletter!

"in the bekeening" :D

"JRISCOOL.EXE" JR obviously stands for John Romero heh :)

It's good that they don't take them too seriously. But the most interesting thing is the answer of question four:

"but the next one was going to be f". WAS - that's the saddest part. They already have been abandoned keen :(.
And I wonder from where the name Bolivar comes: Venezuelan bolivar, city of Bolivar, Simon Bolivar?... And what would be the difference between TED5 and Bolivar? Why did they abandon it? Were they even started working on it? If they were working on it even a little, JRISCOOL or Tom still might have the code somewhere. We better ask them about it!!

I do believe that what they abandonded there was a TED5-like map tool, not Keen itself.

3 install floppies with label slightly different than I've seen around the forums
Manual
Commander Keen Club Registration Card
Spear of Destiny Order Form
FormGen Thank You Letter describing box as "Special Edition"
Commander Keen Watch Instructions Slip
"Keening" newsletter, containing some id history on Keen, game creatures to color, some "secret" screenshots, a word find, and a Keen quiz.
I can't believe this stuff, I've never heard of a video game coming with this sort of extras. (Except Jazz Jackrabbit, which I think had a t-shirt.)

I continue to lament the rise of violent 3D games.

So, anyone for my original request? Lots of die-hard fans here. It'd be greatly appreciated.

I'd love to, but I have nothing to trade.

Well, I have no problem giving floppy images of dreams, 45, or 6 to anyone who wants em. I was just trying to offer incentive to anyone who might have 123.

So yeah, I do have the stuff that you need. I've got several different floppy images too. Keen 123 of course.
They are made from the original media, and no bitship garbage.
Does your stuff are from your media, or you just downloaded them from bitship?

I've never used bitship and haven't downloaded any images. I own the original Keen Dreams, Goodbye, Galaxy!, and Aliens Ate My Babysitter! floppies from the 90s.

I think I speak for all concerned when I say the hardest enemies are the smallest. Shocksunds, Giks and those flies in Keen 4 - all the hardest in their respective games and the smallest.
