Haha, wow.

I almost had the same ideas as Paramultart when I was little:
-Sleeping slugs were owls.
-Gray levels looked like turtles.
-Green buildings looked like Cacti.
-The blue buildings looked like mountains.
-The castle looked like wicker furniture, although I doubt I knew to call it that back then.
-Also the Vorticons were "Boogiemen" at first, but then just became "dogs." I'm not sure when I first realised they were actually called Vorticons...

Some other misinterpretations:
-When I read the info about Robo Red, somehow I got the impression that he was blind. Probably something to do with the "if he hears a sound" part. I dunno.
-In the preview for Keen 6 included in Keen 5, there's a picture of a blooglet on a branch. I used to always think it was some sort of weird dragon-like creature, where the branch was part of it's body. Which is weird, because I had the demo version, which includes that level.

Probably a ton of others, but I can't think of any right now.

I think we've been talking about this before. I've never been thinking of it as a slug. I don't know what I was thinking it was, but when I understood it was a slug, it was shocking news for me too.

Yup, it's a slug ;)

I remember a long time ago, when I had never seen or played Keen 6 before, and saw the preview screens of it in Keen 5 (for some reason I remember they appeared after the ending), I thought the Bloogdome was some kind of a hideous creature (and a scary one indeed!).

This is a grumpy old man. (At the least, the whole thing makes a face, for sure.)

Image
Belly-side up spider? (Again, at the least, I can see a face on it, but this time the face is on the top piece.)

Image
Cactus.

A brown dome of some sort.

Oh right, I forgot about the Perilous Pit. I don't think I ever really thought of it as anything, I just thought that it was a structure above ground rather than a hole.

The blue buildings looked like mountains.
The blue mountains?

Sorry, I had to. :D

All kidding aside, I don't think I thought too much about those or the slugs. I might have been surprised when I found out they were slugs, but for some reason I don't think I cared what they were too much. :foot

BTW,

Image no, This was a carcass.

Image This is indeed a turtle

Image This definitively is a chair.

Image and this is a mushroom.

Yorps were "trippels" (no this actually does no have a really has a meaning, but when i played it, i was 6 or so, and "trippel" is an immature word for "walk", so i actually named them "walkers")

gargs were the daddies ^^.

butler robots were just annoying robots
tank robots were annoying shooting robots.
vorticons were wolves, yellow ones were money wolves, and red ones were blood wolves ^^.
nothing usefull here

Yeah I mentioned this in the other thread about a Little Big Planet user level.

Looked to me like a donkey or a cow. Where the yellow belly of the slug looks like an open mouth.

And this:

I thought this was one of those inflatable bounce castles.

To me there was no doubt they were the yellow slugs you actually see throughout the game.

I only JUST NOW realized that this is a pit and not a huge barrel!

I was always convinced it was a beehive, and not a pit. I'm still not sure that's what it is.

And the green cities on Mars are cacti, and the blue ones are mountains. And the squash in Keen Dreams are still peanuts.
