When I first played Doom, I thought the pistol had a face in it. But I'm not opening a thread about that.

I seem to recall thinking there was an owl in Keen 4, so I voted that.

Also...

This was a turtle.

This was a cactus.

This was a piece of wicker furniture, possibly a throne.

And this was in no way a lolipop. Not sure what I thought it was.

Oh yeah, and all Vorticons were "DOGS"!

@CKeen: I think this thread has potential. It's interesting to see how people truly perceived low res pixel art from back when we were kids.

Yeah, this had been in Misc. Tulip convinced me that this is most appropriate here though so it's here now.

I just thought they were weird, slightly insectoid faces of some sort...the yellow was the mouth. I remember my mind being a bit blown when I realized they were slugs.

Also, I always called the Vorticons "coyotes" for some reason.
