I think that Ceilick's Keys of Krodacia mod made this guy a bit too hard, as you can't shoot him since he's an octopus underwater. :dead

I'm back... kind of? Not really.

Since PCKF directed me on this page, I did not see Fluiq's post first. Thus my immediate thought was:

"What the fucl mmstinks, Fluiq went hard underwater and you fancy tentacle pr0n with him?!"

Forgive my obscene mind.

Finished Keen 5 today, it felt shorter/easier than keen 4. Didn't discover many secrets.

Gonna play keen 6 after this.

And after that... Jill of the Jungle maybe?
Somebody please suggest something :P.

Yes! Cave story is one of the few free games worth buying... for more moneys than free.... Anyways I bought the Wii version.

I like the music in the Wii version better, but I know a lot of purists will hate me for saying that.

Why pay for it when you can get it for free for PC?

Besides, the Wii music is worse as it lacks bass and drums.

I might go for Crystal Caves or Secret Agent after playing Keen 6.
Not sure if I should do that or play Ceilick's mod.

I thought commander keen would be hard, but the games are actually quite short.
What would be hard is playing it without saving, I never actually lose a live I just load every time I die, and save after every hard obstacle.

It give a good feeling to finally beat these games.

I know I've beaten a lot of Mario games, but I can't remember any Keen games or other DOS games.
I might have been to young to remember I beat them, or they were to hard.
Now I can play these games with controller, it makes it possible for me to act faster in platformers.

If you want to beat a game, don't try to play it all at once, save often.
Its not cheating when its part of the game. (Though glitches can be considered as cheats).

Go for Ceilick's mod. :)
And what mode are you playing on? If you think it's too easy, try hard mode.

Because I like having a controller to use on platformers.
And yes the music has no drum track and it loops horribly and sometimes just stops. But the rest sounds good to me anyway.

Kind of off-topic, but since it wasn't on topic anymore anyway.

I started playing Secret Agent Mission 1 today.
Also, I finished it today.
It was easy.

Yeah, once you get the hang of it. It's just crystal caves with bits on.
I never finished any of these games, I guess I sucked at saving or something.
Also I came across levels and thought "damn this level was hard" and then I played it and discovered it was really easy.
I'm gonna try to beat these games: Keen, Jill of the Jungle, Xargon, Crystal Caves and maybe also Duke Nukem (not 3d). I also recognize the games "Dark Ages" and "Snarf" but I think I was really young at that time, not sure If I want to play those.

Maybe Elfland?
There is an actual elf land 2 made in 2008 http://www.bogturtlegames.com/Elfland/Index.php
It's not free though.

Also one of the game I'd really like to run Is Ken's Labyrinth.
Can't get it to work in Dosbox, It freezes.
