Favourite enemies and hated enemies

Keen 4. Bouncers. (not really enemies) The blue Birds are fun too.

Keen 5: Shikadi Masters. They are just so cool.

Keen 6: the pink Tongue monsters hanging from roof. I love their laughing sound effect with PC Speaker. And of course the cute little Blooglets.

As a kid I couldn't read English or Finnish, so it took a long till I got some names for things. And back then I didn't much care about English when I learned it, so I stuck to the names I had invented, for more or less every creature... Can't remember them all, especially the more creative ones. Many of my names were simple and based on the way things look (like wormouth 'snake' and spindred 'diamond'). And yeah, my names were in Finnish and don't necessarily translate that well.
yorp = 'one-eye'
garg = 'two-eye'
vorticon = 'rat'
treasure eater = 'seal'
skypest = 'grasshopper' (yes, I know, I know... )
mad mushroom = 'mushroom'
scrub = 'ball joint' (came from something Finnish word for something way I thought the creature had its legs attached to it, can't be sure such word really meant what I thought it did)
bounder = 'sphere/ball'
council member = 'grampa'
sprite = 'white cat'
korath = 'scott'
shelley = 'strawberry'
slicestar = 'snowflake'
spirogrip = 'flying hand'

I and my brother too had funny names to them in Finnish. I remember some of them:

Skypest: Mosquito
Mad Mushroom: Maniac
Bloog: Clubhead, can't translate it well, in Finnish "nuijapÃ¤Ã¤". (both the ones with the clubs and the ones without)
Schoolfish: small fish
Dopefish: Big fish

unfortunately can't remember more.

I called yorps and gargs one-eyed and two-eyed monsters. Sparkies - for some reason - I called Sentry Guards. I don't know why, I think maybe my dad called them that. And pat-pats, my mom called those 'pinching toilets.' Don't even ask, no-one knows why, but since the name was so ridiculous, it kind of stuck.

Oh, I called the Hidden City the Hidding City. (Not Hiding, Hidding, with a short 'i' sound.) Little Amptons were Pink Robots (boring). Vorticon Youths were Baby Vorticons (also pretty boring). Oh, and for some reason I always thought that 'Keen goes nuts in the Regulation Control Center' was 'Keen drives nuts.'

I have no idea.

Best enemy ever is in Keen 4, those red spherical guys with pointy arms and legs that just disappear for no reason in the Pyramid of the Ghosticenes (the one with the Eye on it). I still don't understand their point but they have the best expression on their face.

Although Shikadi Masters are awesome, and Shocksund is it? which we called Shikadi Dogs.

I dunno whether this counts but my most hated is Princess Lindsay. Me and my brother used to hate her so much. I deliberately avoided Hillville when I went through Keen 4 this week.

Well anyway if there's not...

I love the Commander Keen games. Me and my bro played them when we were young, then a couple of years ago we DL'd them all and now we play them with DosBox. I also found a great Keen1/2/3 editor (creatively named 'Keenedit') so we do level editing as well.

Might post a Keen3 level pack soon. Would people play it if I did?

Favorite: Vorticon; I like their strength, I wish they would have used more of them

Disliked: [NONE]

Keen 2:
Favorite: Vorticon Elite; they shoot, they run, they take 3 shots, it's all good

Disliked: Vorticon Elder; they freaked me out when I was younger

Keen 3:
Favorite: FOOB!!

Disliked: Vortininja; I can never shoot them in time (and in one level one jumps into a bad spot and I can't pass it

)

Keen 4:
Favorite: Berkeloid; I like its behavior

Disliked: Dopefish; I have issues with that last one

Keen 5:
Favorite: Robo Red; its big; it shoots; and its invincible!

Disliked: Sparky; too many

Keen 6:
Favorite: Bipship; I love how they blow up

Disliked: Bobba; too big, I can't put too many in or memory fills

Keen Dreams:
Favorite: Apple; it slides on poles!

Disliked: Frenchy; it looks weird

I only had names for the K6 characters after I played. Here are my names for them:

Blooglet: bird

Bloog: bad guy

Blooguard: big bad guy

Babobba: thing

Bobba: thing

I found the rest of the names before I met the creatures.

Keen 1- I do not like or dislike any of the enemies in this episode.

Keen 2- I like the Scrubs. Vortikids are annoying.

Keen 3- Vortininjas are cool. Meeps need to shut the hell up and leave the singing to the professionals.

Keen Dreams- Tater Troopers are the ultimate guards. Aparagustos and Tomatooths need to go back to the garden.

Keen 4- Treasure Eaters have a wicked smile. The Berkeloid can go spit fire and the Dopefish does NOT rule!

Keen 5- Robo Red is my all-time favorite Keen enemy. The Spirogrip can grab onto something else and the bouncing Slicestars can bounce off a high cliff.

Keen 6- The Bipship and Ceilick bring cool back to Commander Keen. Bobba Fett should kill the Bobba for being a cheap imitation and the Gik makes me sick.

SKYPEST! They are so annoying!

I hate Skypest. (which has given me an obsession: Whenever there is Skypest around, I have to stomp on 'em. Not doing this gives me the creeps..)

Blue Bird egg - I remember having fun trying to jump as close as possible without breaking it.

Most hated:
Skypest - I really hated it, but I remember the joy whenever I succeeded in squishing it under my pogo.

Hated:Vortikids, so annoying, they are cute, but very annoying
