keen four question - level of the moon
Well I hate to ask here... but my regular comp is not working. But anyways...
...how do you get outside of the pyramid of the moon? There is that door on the top of it.

If you go across the bridge in the inchworm room to that mostly-empty leftmost area, pogo straight up. There is a hidden area in the ceiling. In that hidden area is a pole, which you can grab at. If you climb up this pole you'll get to a secret room. Don't go through the door at the top of this secret room; rather, jump up at the door, as there's another hidden area up there. Go up and to the left, and you'll drop down in yet another hidden room full of ice cream cones and another door. Go through this door, and you'll be outside.
I hope that was at all clear...

Wow. I'd never seen this before.
Thanks.
Thanks.

I have no idea about this one, but my first instinct would be to guess that it's just staggered by when they load into memory. This would be why the shooters in the first corridor go off so irregularly, since your approach to them isn't fluid. Also, notice that when you enter the inchworm room, there's a pair of shooters going off simultaneously next to the door, so they'd load into memory at the same time. If you run off to the right, and then back, they will no longer be going off at the same time, but rather the one on the right--ie the one that would load first--would be shooting slightly before the other. Again, not sure, but this seems to make sense.
EDIT: And as for why the four are firing at the same time in the video, my guess would be that the game was saved and later reloaded there.

The guns are inactive once they're offscreen, but work regularly after that, like most sprites in fact. If you're going to enter an area with lots of guns, do so quickly, so they all fire at once, leaving a big space to run past, inching along will get them shooting all the time, which sucks.
