Yeah this is correct. I was cursing my new laptop for a while until I figured out the right menu to look in to turn it off. It was under keyboard shortcuts of 'Intel HD Graphics' in my system tray, not a hotkey of windows'.Keening_Product wrote:I'm pretty sure that the actual flip is a graphics card driver "feature." I just did it on my netbook:
If you have Intel graphics (which is the only kind of card which I know of which does this), right-click on the system tray icon > Graphics Options > Hot Keys > Disable.

That rotating thing caused me so much trouble with my laptop! And I'd keep having to re-orient the screen! I had Intel graphics, too, and eventually figured that all out. Rather than disable them, I changed the hot keys for rotating the display to something like "ctrl-shift-U."Keening_Product wrote:I just did it on my netbook:
