Really for real, it is really so really simple to sell.

The issue in my opinion is that the guy really does not want to sell the stuff. He can easily list it on ebay and sell it. If the top bidder does not want to pay for it, then he reports it to ebay and gets his money back, and can give a second chance offer to the second top bidder, or third top bidder, and if worst comes to worst he can relist the item.
