Ctrl + alt + F5 records video in dosbox by itself: http://www.dosbox.com/wiki/Recording_Video

Ctrl + F5 makes a picture. Make sure you press Alt next time. :)

Indeed, hold ctrl and alt, THEN tap F5, the little black window behind Dosbox should say something about recording video.

In worse comes to worse, just F10 + D in the level and record a demo that we can then download and run in our own games.

In Keen 1, if you stand over the BWB rocket and press F8, then ctrl after the map is scrambled, it takes you to the last level.

This requires a version of ck1 that has the glitch of course.

My hardest secret was the hidden exit at Pyramid of Moons. I had the clue that the secret level must be there, but I couldn't understand the "watch out or they'll be afoot" reference about the Inchworms. So probably that wuz the hardest.

Welcome to the PCKF, Reactor. :)

How did you end up figuring out what was meant? I'm impressed you did it without googling haha

Thank you, I'm sure I shall enjoy my stay ;)

Well um, I had a friend who told me the solution how to get to the Pyramid of the Forbidden, as he was also a big fan of them Commander Keen games. The only thing he couldn't figure out wuz the Lifewater Flasks at Lifewater Oasis - because it's impossible to get there without cheating.

Just fyi, try to check the dates on topics. You're necro-bumping a bit ;)

Also, welcome to pckf

I know...well, most threads haven't been posted fer a long time, so it's kinda necro-bumping alright, though, poll-like questions (i.e. when was the first time you played Keen) is OK to post for a new member I hope :)

The secret ending in keen 5.
Me and omer made a rainbow dash HUD for doom, for our mistake most of the doomers are anti-bronies. Image

That one pyramid where you can get outside and run about on the hay bales. Don't remember which pyramid it was, but it was a tricky one to find, especially on hard mode when you're getting shot at.

If you hit the right buttons after beating the Brownian Motion Inducer, you could clip through the walls on the world map and start running around outer space.
