Cave of descendents

Post by Levack »

I was playing Keen4(v1.5) and in the Cave of descendents the walls are blue. Why do you think that is? the only other place with the blue ground walls is in the WoW.and that secret on the far right is rather odd you have to die to get the points, but there are two 1ups...

Either too much grey and too few colours in the level otherwise, or to be different in any way from chasm of chills. Plus blue is cold and it tries to have a feeling of coldness.

The bedrock is flooded with the strange cyan water of the planet.

Of course earth too has its share of blue volcanic rocks.

I always just thought that it was supposed to look cold. Besides, they had the tiles prepared, why not use them more than once, in different settings, to make the levels look more varied?

Hah. That's probably not the answer you're looking for. Maybe just go with the "it's supposed to look cold" idea.

Also, the blue tiles are used at the bottom of Sand Yego and Lifewater Oasis, where there's water.
