Yeah, but some guy already has the source in a zip file. They just need to take 5 minutes to send out a permissory email.
Exactly and to get green light for that permissory email the company would need 3 weeks of evaluation, analysis and a lot of meetings to decide.

Pretty interesting... what I read here.

I hope the upcoming year will bring a bit more keeness...

As for my part I have some plans and honestly I don't care if they release it or not...

The release of the src won't even affect the future of CG or any of my other projects I'm working on.

We should go beyond in my opinion create our ultimate platformer... thats my opinion. Do we really need those guys? No...

So I wouldn't worry that much, because as community we are more than those corps...
Having fun developing stuff...
