Unless there's some sort of crazy special case in the game code to hotpatch that section in or it appeared in only a certain version/distribution, it's fake. (I'll try it in-game soon, though.)
The level in question:
(The coordinates shown are both just one tile past the lower-right "block" and, as indicated by the square brackets as opposed to round ones, are outside the level bounds.)
Neither the mirror nor the "I C U" sign appear in any of the tilesets, so those too would have to be specialized to version or hotpatched, though there is a contiguous unused region in the background tileset large enough to hold the necessary tiles.
There are no tiles with the "door" property in the level, nor are there any links save those on the switches and key holders. I checked using the Tile Instance Locator and all those black tiles have foreground tile 0 (null) on top of them.
Or maybe there's a conspiracy among all the level editor writers.

I tried it in-game, and it doesn't work. It's probably either in a special version, or it's just fake.
