Possibility of a new Keen game?
I wonder if a new Keen game will ever be made as I am a huge fan of Commander Keen and I don't want him to permanently die out

Hmmmnnn.... interesting question. On the one hand Keen has a very small footprint at present, it's an old game from decades ago.
However there is a LOT of nostalgia around the place. It seems a good portion of adults in the 20-40 age group remember Keen and similar games have been remade or extended in the past. When you look at Keen's contemporaries a large number have been dredged up for further cash opportunities. I wouldn't put an animated Keen movie out of the running (We've had what, TWO movies about video games since 2010?) Keen's had a port to cellphones (Dreams) plus everything we've done, one of the biggest games of last year was a retro pixely thing...
It's not likely, maybe 10% per year. But I don't think it can be written off either.

What you really need, not what you think you ought to want.
Well here's hoping Ratchet and Clank will be alright.
I would note that many video game movies were deliberately bad as part of a tax scheme. House of the Dead, Alone in the Dark, Alone in the Dark II, BloodRayne, BloodRayne II: Deliverance, BloodRayne: The Third Reich, In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale, Postal, and Far Cry. One man, one ingenious scheme to enrich himself at the expense of video games: http://www.cinemablend.com/features/Uwe ... g-209.html
The path is clear, we must kill him before he gets his grubby mitts on Keen.
