Simple question but I'm curious about the results.

I have, and it was nothing spectacular. It wasn't even that tremendously bad, it just wasn't Keenish.

I've played it, and it was such rubbish I didn't play very long. At the time I was excited. Portable Keen FTW! But alas what I got was not Keen at all.
Forget it.

I searched very long to find a rom of it on the internet :pirate, but soon after I got it, I found out what a crappy game it is. Still I like some of the graphics, so you might see some of them in a future mod.

I have never played it and I have never owned a Game Boy. I watched a few videos on YouTube that showed excepts from a few of its levels. From the little a saw I was not very impressed. It was not bad as a GBC game, but as a Commander Keen game it was seriously lacking. As others on this thread have already put it, it just did not seem very Keenish.

I have never played it before, mostly because I never owned a GBC. I kind of want to, just because I don't like saying it sucks when I really have no personal experience to back it up.

I tried playing it on an emulator and (like most here) was too disgusted to even finish 2 levels. :barf

I have played it, and beaten it twice. Kind of challanging and interesting in some places, but nothing that great. There is nothing Tom Hall about it.

How come I can't vote tho? Every time I just see the results and not the buttons to vote.

[EDIT]: nm, as soon as i posted, the buttons showed up. strange.
The Viking II lander actually did land on a 'rock' on Mars.

Haha, yeah that was it. I am still used to the old forum where it does not time out and keeps u logged in for a long time.

the GBC game is just an anomaly of the Keeniverse. Even if it was never made, the situation is still the same: Keen must return to his maker. And nothing has really changed in the "cannon" either, because there was almost no story element in it.

In fact, I do not even remember the story. Does anyone recall? Something about three crystals...

I've played it, the first two levels. Enough said.

But.. Let's not judge the game that bad. After all, GBC was with very limited capabilities at its time. Poor hardware, small screen with small amount of colors, etc. I'm sure if it was released today by the same team, it would be much greater on DSi than it was on GBC.
