Proper Pronunciation?

Is there a proper pronunciation for some of the more complicated aliens? I've always called Shikadi Shee-kah-dee, but I just realized that its way more fun to pronounce it Shik-ah-dee (like Chick-a-dee). Watch out, here come the chickadees, I mean shikadis.

First i as in 'sit', a as in 'and', last 'i' slightly extended more like a y, with emphasis on the middle syllable.

Most people go by Ilsoap's pronunciation in Shadowlands.
I'm pretty sure there is no known official pronunciation but Tom Hall could probably tell us what it was originally intended to be.

I know this has been discussed a number of times before, but I could have sworn somebody stepped in once and offered a quotation from a dev explaining that the official pronunciation of "Shikadi" was similar to "chickadee". Did I just dream that up?
In any case, if you look at the Shikkers Candy Bar, which is a pun on Snickers, then at the very least you can deduce how the "shik" part of "Shikadi" is pronounced. As for the rest... I always think "shi[p] caddy".

I definitely remember the topic of "how is Shikadi pronounced?" coming up before, and I think there was some sort of statement from Tom Hall mentioned.
We need to start archiving his Keen-related comments.
