It's meant to be a as in e-ee, but I get your point. Phonetically in Welsh you could have ei, but English is harder because eee just gets confusing...Deltamatic wrote:It's hard to find a phonetically isomorphic word for "a". When I read eh I think it as in the e in hello.

I wouldn't say firmly. I wouldn't say loosely. We're tied to the mother country by blood and tradition and will remain so, as long as the mother country doesn't ask anything of all of us, especially anything expensive, or tries to give us orders.
What you really need, not what you think you ought to want.

Of course, a lot changed in the way empire was thought of and carried out between the 1770s and the post-WWI era. I'm not saying that the British Crown wouldn't have given the American colonies greater autonomy or even independence if they had asked for it instead of declaring independence unilaterally, but no other British colonies did so anywhere within the same time frame so it's hard to be sure. I suppose if what you're saying is that the American colonies should have asked in the 1770s and then waited a while if Britain refused, then that's kind of a different question, and kind of calls into question whether the wars of independence fought in Latin America, Algeria, Portuguese Africa, etc. were justified.
Just my two cents, I don't care enough to argue this terribly...

That is what I was wondering as well?Grimson wrote:What does this have to do with KoK revision discussion?
Edit: My plan is to keep the game the way it is as much as possible. I am definitely in the minority here. It seems from past posts many people want to overhaul half the game and that troubles me so!

It's because the overall quality of KoK is no longer on par with later titles, DitD and BotB. It's necessary to update both the graphics and audio to make all titles of the trilogy equally awesome (although, BotB will likely remain as the best mod of all time ).Edit: My plan is to keep the game the way it is as much as possible.
