There goes my theory that Koraths have prehensile mustaches.

I made a shot of what the Robo Blue would look like on the Omegamatic, just to compare with the rest of the Keen graphics, using my sprite for the Robo Blue.
Here it is:

You can really tell I've never worked on a mod before.

I think it looks better than him trying to use his foot, and much funnier :lol

I also made another shot, which included the Police:

With the R.B.:

You can see the dead Blue on the left, right? It's not too obscure?

The prehensile mustaches idea is awesome, but I'm with VBB, shooting with feet is way funnier.

Dead Robo Blue looks only stunned.

I agree. There needs to be more signs of outward damage, and it would probably look better if he was on his side or something.

Also, the tiles for the Korath III surface should stand out more against the background than they do...as it is they blend in too much with the horizon. Also, the surface Keen walks on should be a different shade (generally lighter) than the interior fill tiles.

Why should RoboBlue die when shot? If anything, he'd be merely stunned, and that's perfect for a 'stunned' animation.

Maybe he should spark or catch fire or something as his connections short out?

Well, erm, my for a dying Robo Blue was to have it that, after you shoot it, it goes from black to yellow to black for a second, then to black, kind of like when your computer screen shorts out. It might be better if it could be only temporarily stunned, somewhat like an Arachnut.

In Keen 5, this could be done by somewhat modifying Ceilick's patch for making the robo garg stunnable only for a short amount of time.

Is it possible to make huge enemy sprites in the keen 4-6 engine? Robo Red's already the largest enemy sprite (next to Bobus), so I'm not sure how a larger one would work out.

Levellass had large sprite enemies in her since abandoned mod, she mentioned a large sprite patch - I think Ceilick had something to do with it but I'm not sure.
But I'm not sure which version of Keen that was in.

AFTER SOME SEARCHING WILLIAM ADDS TO HIS POST:

viewtopic.php?t=1377
And it was Lemm's patch, my apologies.

Guys I couldn't write a patch even if I wanted to... I have a general knowledge of what is probably patchable, but I can't do any of it myself.

It depends on how complicated the enemie's behavior is and how many animation frames. Robored has no walking animation for a reason...
